The Art of Purposefully Wasting Time for
Enhanced Creativity and Well-Being!
What is ZenDally™?
Wasting Time Wisely
Dally is suggested to have come from the Anglo-French dalier which means “to amuse oneself”, originating as a word sometime in the early 14th century. By the late 15th century, it was starting to gain the sense of “wasting time.”
But as the famous artist Rodin says “Nothing is a waste of time if you use the experience wisely.”

Let’s not forget as well that taking time away from our heavy schedules full of to-do’s can actually help us be more productive when we get back to it!
Zen and Dally
Zen, while primarily referenced to a Japanese Mahayana Buddhist school of thought, can also mean

- thought, image, sign from the Sanskrit dhyana
